How we verify, how we describe condition and what grading means.
Are all cards authentic?
Yes. Every card is checked before shipping for print quality, edges, holo pattern, weight and feel. If in doubt, we do not sell it. Graded cards ship in the unopened original slab.
What do Near Mint, Lightly Played etc. mean?
NM = like new, LP = light wear, MP = clearly visible wear, HP = heavy wear, DMG = damaged. The full scale with examples is under Authenticity & condition.
How do I verify a slab's certificate number?
PSA: psacard.com/cert. CGC: cgccards.com/certlookup. Beckett: beckett.com/grading/verify. WATA: watagames.com/verify. Enter the number and the card and grade are shown.
Why is PSA 10 so much more expensive than PSA 9?
Gem Mint is rare, especially for older sets. Demand concentrates on the top grade, so the price jump is big. More in our blog.
Can I get cards graded through you?
We currently do not offer a grading service. If that changes, newsletter subscribers hear it first.
Are signed items authentic?
Every signed piece comes with a certificate of authenticity (COA), often with a photo or video of the signing. The product description states which certificate is included.
How do I spot resealed or fake sealed product?
Wrap, seal, weight and price are the key signs. We inspect every sealed product before listing. More in the blog.
